Just thought I better make a post to tell anyone who actually reads this that I will be updating the thing in the next few days! The start of uni has been a complete change to my normal lazy lifestyle and i’m actually having to do work now! *Shock*

Well it has finally come! Tomorrow i will be taking the lovely 3 hour drive with my mum to Sheffield! Although I’m feeling good about it all i’m also pretty nervous as I have no idea who I’m going to be living with, I swear everyone else has found at least one flatmate but me? Not a single person! I’m pretty much packed just need to add a few bits and pieces and pack up my PC which i’ll do later tonight or tomorrow.
Again I know not much has been posted on here but really there isn’t much to tell! I’ve just been learning my Hiragana and Katakana, packing and waiting! I can assure you once I get to uni I will have the blog updated weekly (hopefully!).
God I’m so tired, no idea why I got up and wrote this now! Back to sleep for a bit I think!

Thats right folks Tim has new hair! (Pictures coming soon!) Having complained about my hair for so long my girlfriend took me to Toni and Guy and sorted me out. Its pretty short now but i’m thankful not having to deal with annoying bits at the back that won’t go straight! Anyway…in other news:
Not much to mention at the moment but i’m sure as it gets closer to university I will have plenty more posts to bore you with! Also thanks for Fran and Greg for commenting the last post, makes it seem worthwhile writing this blog and don’t worry i’ll keep it up for your sake!

Hello everyone and welcome to Zangetsu - Journey To Japan!
Ok, this isn’t my first blog, as a matter of fact it is probably the third or so i’ve made in the last few months…>.> BUT this time I will stick with it! I was just lazy before and I know what you are thinking ‘promises promises…’ but seriously this one is up and it is here to stay!
I hope you like the theme I have decided to use, it may not have some flashy logo or have anything CRAZY but I think its simple and sweet and perfect for what I need it for which is to tell the world about my journey to Japan!
In about four weeks my journey will begin at the University of Sheffield where I have decided to enrol for Japanese Studies and I can’t tell you how excited I am! Although it has been nice having the summer I can’t wait to get myself to Sheffield and start learning Japanese properly.
I decided that keeping a blog would be a nice idea because I won’t actually be visiting Japan for another 2 years and I wanted to keep a record of everything I do up until that point. I have never been very good at keeping a diary but I want something to look back on and so I will be trying my hardest to keep this blog updated and alive!
Well, thats enough babble for now! I’ve probably bored any potential visitors to death and I apologise for that!
